Two D-IV RPM students took part in DPP Blended at PT Sapta Indra Sejati (SIS)

students of Applied Mechanical Design Engineering students passed the DPP Blended program at PT Saptaindra Sejati (SIS) which is part of the PT Adaro Energy Tbk Group, namely Wahyu Dony K and Bera Miranta (class of 2019). Through the Diploma Prepareration Blended (DPP Blended) program, students gain internship experience in coal mining, especially in the heavy equipment maintenance process. This program is implemented for 1 year, divided into 4 time frames, namely:

1. BMC (Basic mechanic course) is training given to DPPs which can provide participants with a general overview regarding basic knowledge of heavy equipment. BMC was carried out at the PT SIS Learning Center in Bekasi.
2. Maintenance process 1 is carried out at the job site (Kalimantan) such as periodic inspection, periodic service, and condition monitoring of heavy equipment.
3. Maintenance process 2 such as overhaul activity, remove and install, and backlog activity.
4. Field activity and final assignment preparation.

Of course, within this time frame there are training activities that participants must take part in, such as specialization and product training. Apart from that, participants will be evaluated in each time frame by making a presentation. It is hoped that participants can understand the maintenance system at PT SIS. Previously, in order to be able to take part in the DPP Blended program, students went through several selection processes starting from registration according to requirements, psychological tests, HR & LGD interviews, user interviews and MCU. If they pass, participants are required to take part in internship program activities at PT SIS.
